My artistic practice is based on the creation of an atmosphere through different formations and construction of spaces. These spaces are mainly formed through 3D structural models, large or small-scale installations, and different kinds of sculptures. Currently, I also explore the idea of a video and how I can create a visual illusion of the size of the spaces. The atmosphere that my art delivers to the audience is emerging from an exploration of my obsession with the introspection of my mental and emotional state.

Inspired by Jungian Psychology and the notion of ‘shadow’ as the unknown dark side of thepersonality, through my works I make an approaching to my feelings trying not to frame them into words but explore their atmosphere and the raw emotion as it is. The main concept within my art is to record some of my existential feelings from hidden sides of my personality that maybe make me scared or those which usually operate in an aggressive way to my psychology. This process of the confrontation of my dark side through my works urges me to re-experience those dark emotions and create a diary that reflects and reveals some of my inner conflicts.

Existential emotions of anxiety, panic, and despair are some of my main inspirations to create moods and works that concentrate on experimentation with the contrast of darkness and light, entrapment-escapism, chaos-order, balance- imbalance, and limitation-extension.

My artworks usually consist of wooden sticks and boxes creating claustrophobic sense, or a feeling of entrapment. I usually find materials and objects from everyday life and convert them into different 3D constructions. Otherwise, I create miniature models and perspective spaces replacing the idea of a real room; through the process of videos, I combine the motion and sound creating a visual illusionary experience that delivers to the audience a distinctive dark atmosphere.
