Noticing my preference to relationships which satisfy my need to be tactile from early childhood, within my practice I have been understanding the anthropological details in which we experience and benefit from close human interaction. Deviating from eroticising the nature of touch and instead highlighting the importance of platonic intimacy. My videos enable me to convey the close connections I have within my personal life to a wider audience. Only when equally reciprocated, touch enables us to physically cement trust between one another. Therefore, using both verbal and physical interaction within my videos, I have learned the importance of non-sexual intimacy, how it enables us to accept one another and allows us the ability to air out any underlying concerns which may inhibit our growth as individuals. Video as a medium enables me to document my process, and the nuances which make each relationship unique.  With the by-product of hopefully allowing others to become a part the linear countability between two people, enabling an audience to experience intimacy in a relationship they aren’t personally in themselves.
