Nada Khouri is an artist from the Palestinian and Iraqi diasporas whose works are characterised by their investigations into culture, identity, memory and human interconnectedness. She is multidisciplinary in her approach, as she believes the medium should be tailored to her thoughts. The subject matter of her work is often an attempt to represent her countries of origin, although she has never experienced either place. Khouri’s work is the physical embodiment of the conflicts in her mind.
